BEETROOT HARVEST AND SUGAR REFINING SEASON HAS STARTED

No sooner had our farmers finished harvesting early grain crops than they had already begun the sugar beet harvest, which is no less important and laborious. That is due to the fact that 6043 hectares of sugar beet are to be harvested, of which 3204 hectares are in Tomashpil' region and 2839 hectares in Tulchyn region. Beetroot on an area of 251 hectares was already collected, which makes up 4% of the cultivated one.

On Wednesday, September 15, Tomashpil' sugar plant began processing sugar beets.
